I went to Arizona for a week the end of May because my Grandfather passed away unexpectedly follow complications from lung cancer surgery. The week was both awful and great all at the same time. Awful because of my Grandpa being so sick, but great because it was the first time EVER my entire family (aunts, uncles, cousins) were all together for more than a day or two. We spent 7 whole days together! Some of you may cringe at the thought of spending 7 days with family, but my family all get along really well. There are a few who argue more than others, but it's dealable. The week was spent, crying and laughing. I honestly have not laughed so hard in a long time, nor have I cried so hard. Atleast not since my stepdad passed away in 2002.
Here are some pictures that were taken during the coarse of my 7 days in Arizona.
A memorial board my cousin and I put together for the Memorial Service.
This pictures is of most of the Aunts and cousins on our first day in AZ. Grandpa was still doing OK at this point.
This is my brother, Ted (left) and our cousin, Nick (right). Ted is 18yrs older than Nick and from the day Nick was born he and Ted have looked alike. Our Mothers are sisters and both have brown hair and browns eyes, but each eneded up with a blond blue eyed son.

This is my mom (center) with two of her younger sisters. The sister on the left is Nicks' mom.
This photo was taken the day of the Memorial Service. This is all family that flew in from out of state. The only people missing were my uncle who didn't want his picture taken, and 5 cousins who were unable to make it in for the service.
