In My Neck of the Woods

Heres some pictures from our hike around Deer Island today.
This house sites vacant at the trail head. This house is signifagant to my family histroy....It's where my Dad lived from the ages of 8 to 18 (1950-1960) This is where he was living when he and my Mom met.

This was once a barn at the back of my Dads house.

I LOVE your old barn/fence pics. When we lived in Southern Indiana I took a lot of pics of old run-down barns. Old barns are so quaint...I just love them!

Oh.. this was very intersting.. LOVE the pictures.. and love that there is "history" in those pictures!! Thank you for sharing.. if I shared pictures.. all you would see is snowbanks!! NOT fascinating at all!! lol
